If WMM (Wireless Multimedia Extensions) is disabled on a WLAN, devices are not able to connect on 802.11n.
On a Cisco wireless, it's necessary to enable WMM by SSID:
WLANs>Choose WLAN>QoS>WMM>
Choose 'Allowed'
